Frisco’s Grand Park: A Vision for Expansive Green Space

Frisco is embarking on an ambitious project to develop Grand Park, a sprawling 1,011-acre green space that will surpass the size of New York’s Central Park, which spans 843 acres. The park is planned to extend from the west side of the Dallas North Tollway to Lake Lewisville, offering residents and visitors a vast area for recreation and leisure.

The development of Grand Park will occur in multiple phases. The first phase, estimated to cost around $43 million, is funded through previous bonds and support from the Frisco Community Development Corporation. Completion of this initial phase is targeted for October 2027. This project underscores Frisco’s commitment to enhancing community amenities and providing expansive outdoor spaces for its growing population.
