Frisco’s Grand Park: A Vision for Expansive Green Space

Frisco is embarking on an ambitious project to develop Grand Park, a sprawling green space that will encompass approximately 1,011 acres, making it larger than New York’s Central Park, which spans 843 acres. The park is set to stretch from the west side of the Dallas North Tollway to Lake Lewisville.

The development of Grand Park will occur in multiple phases. The first phase has an estimated cost of around $43 million, funded through previous bonds and support from the Frisco Community Development Corporation. Completion of this initial phase is targeted for October 2027. This project underscores Frisco’s commitment to enhancing community amenities and providing residents with expansive recreational spaces.
